Buckeyes Linebacker Steele Chambers is teaming up with the Franklin County Dog Shelter to host an adoption event. The event, which will take place on Saturday, April 10th, will give potential pet owners the opportunity to meet and adopt a furry friend.
Chambers, a senior at Ohio State University, is an avid animal lover and has been involved in animal rescue and adoption for several years. He is passionate about helping animals find their forever homes and is excited to be partnering with the Franklin County Dog Shelter for this event.
The event will feature a variety of adoptable dogs, including puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs. All of the dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Potential pet owners will have the opportunity to meet and interact with the dogs before making their decision.
In addition to the adoption event, Chambers will also be hosting a fundraiser to benefit the Franklin County Dog Shelter. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards helping the shelter care for the animals in their care.
Chambers is hoping that the event will help bring attention to the importance of animal adoption and rescue. He believes that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy of having a pet in their life.
The adoption event and fundraiser will take place at the Franklin County Dog Shelter on Saturday, April 10th. For more information, please visit the shelter’s website or contact Steele Chambers directly.
