On Monday, an Indian Army canine was badly injured during an engagement between security officers and militants in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag area. The operation was initiated late Sunday night after security forces got information about the presence of terrorists in the Tangpawa region of the south Kashmir district, Hindustan Times reported.

Zoom, the dog, was entrusted with searching the house for terrorists. Inside the home, the dog attacked the extremists. The canine was shot twice during the operation and received grave injuries.
The Dog, on the other hand, continued his mission, killing two terrorists. Zoom was airlifted to the Army Veterinary Hospital, where he is being treated. To honor its canine member’s involvement in the mission, the Army’s Chinar Corps division published a film on the braveheart.

Zoom has been involved in many active operations in south Kashmir, according to an army officer reported by the news agency PTI.
