Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest is going to the dogs this June with a series of special events designed to bring people and their canine companions together.
The first event, “Dogs in the Forest,” will be held on June 5th and will feature a guided hike through the forest with Bernheim’s naturalists. Participants will learn about the flora and fauna of the forest, and their canine companions will get to explore the trails and enjoy the fresh air.
The second event, “Dogs and Yoga,” will be held on June 12th and will feature a yoga class designed for both people and their canine companions. Participants will be able to practice yoga poses with their dogs, and the class will also include a discussion about the benefits of yoga for both people and their pets.
The third event, “Dogs and Art,” will be held on June 19th and will feature a workshop where participants can create art with their canine companions. The workshop will include a discussion about the importance of art in our lives, and participants will be able to create a piece of art with their dogs.
The final event, “Dogs and Music,” will be held on June 26th and will feature a concert featuring music from local musicians. Participants will be able to enjoy the music with their canine companions, and the event will also include a discussion about the importance of music in our lives.
All of the events will be held at Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest, and all participants must have a valid Bernheim membership. The events are free for members, and non-members can purchase a day pass for $5.
