Roseville Police Want Help Identifying Man Suspected Of Stabbing, killing Dog

Police are seeking assistance in identifying a man they suspect fatally stabbed a dog.

On Thursday, September 15, at 1:45 p.m., something happened near Flanagan and Dolphin streets in Roseville.

The suspect is characterized as a Caucasian man in his 60s or 65s. According to investigators, he was bald with a scruffy beard. When a witness spotted him, he was holding a black terrier-mix dog.

A Roseville woman was searching for her two dogs, who had escaped from their yard. While looking, she noticed a man with a bloodied knife in his hands. He ordered her to get her pets.

She discovered the body of one of her dogs, a pit bull mix, in front of a house on Dugan Street. However, the guy fled the scene before the arrival of the police.

Police suspect the man lives nearby since he was walking his dog at the time of the stabbing and killing of the other dog.
